SENSES
started in 2015 and abandoned at the beginning of 2020
All new songs were composed by Stefano Liani (except for Melancholy, originally named Solitude, that was written during the ‘pre-Revolution’ period with Franco Napoli) in a demo version, including rough vocals. A pre-mixing phase, by Marco Sirico, was undertaken and included four selected songs, as indicated below. Marco added guitars, keyboards and drums programming, other than recording newer and better vocals. Various circumstances, including a general unsatisfaction for most of the songs written for this project, forced Synthesis to give up and to start writing new materials for the next album, titled Distopia, but that has a lot of news: italian lyrics, faster tempo, more electronic oriented and, above all, the return of the guitarist Franco Giaffreda (Rebirth & Lights and Shadows) and mixing and production by Drago. In addition, some songs have indeed merged into Distopia, with renewed versions and text in Italian
